tern Council of SCC. A results sheet gives the event date as October 23, 1955.
Note Carl Hass (sic) in the Porsche Speedster in the lower right photo. His name was spelled correctly in the race standings, as 1st OA in the F/Prod race. He was also 2nd of 17 OA in the D & E/Prod race, according to the newsletter.
Carl Haas Racing is now the promoter for the Milwaukee Mile and Carl is, of course, a principal in Newmann-Haas Racing. He has also been a strong supporter of amateur road racing over the years, including a stint as a member and four terms as chairman of the SCCA national Board of Directors.
